Delhi CM inaugurates new Rao Tula Ram (RTR) Flyover | Weekly roundup

The work on the much-awaited underpass in Noida sector 71 began on Thursdays, as the project got approval from traffic police. This underpass will bring relief to the daily commuters and is expected to be completed within a year.

The Noida Authority announced that the sweeping drives in the commercial areas will be carried out during the night time instead of the day. The date of implementing the same is not mentioned yet but will be out soon.

The experts and realtors are demanding strict enforcement of safety norms and regular audits after a building collapsed in Mumbai on 16th July. 14 people were killed in the tragedy, therefore this has once again put the focus on Mumbai’s stressed infrastructure.

Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal inaugurated the 2.85 KM-signal-free Rao Tula Ram Flyover on 16th July. The RTR Flyover is now open for the commuters and is expected to ease commuting from south Delhi and Noida to the IGI airport.

About 2,80,616 two-bedroom houses have been sanctioned under the scheme for the poor, by the Telangana government. The estimated cost of the project is Rs 18,520 crores.
