Currently, he plans to utilize his rich experience for further expansion of organization & riding ladder of his professional career. What is your new role at AIPL and how do you look forward to use your expertise to help the brand grow?
My voyage in the real estate market has been very dynamic. Currently, my role is to share the experience in increasing Channel Partners base of the company, exploring new opportunities for Sales / Branding / Business Growth, Managing and Motivating the sales force of the company. New beginnings are always special with some infused energy and zeal to work harder.
What challenges you expect in the new role?
The market is stagnant but the conditions are dynamic. Recent government announcements of GST and RERA will have major implication to the sector which seems to be challenging for brands to cope up. While the buyer sentiments are currently distorted creatingBrand Awareness also seems to be a bit challenging in the current scenario.
What’s the hardest part of your job? What do you do to keep calm?
It’s kind of funny as on one side buyers are asking for discounts, while the brokers are looking for a better cut. Managing such a crisis is troublesome and tiring. It’s hard to make the consumers believe in what they are buying is worth. I have a lot of Patience. Listen to all but function in the framework of the company. Be Firm yet polite – Remember Customer is the King.
Which other personality in the industry do you admire and why?
Mr. Pankaj Pal is a being I always look up to. His out of the box thinking, solution oriented approach and Leadership Quality keeps me going!
What do you consider your greatest achievement?
From the time I sailed in the ocean of real estate, I have always got great captains to sail with, who made my exploration more interesting. Namely, Ravi Saund (Ex. Ansals), H K Verma (Ex. What has been your biggest disappointment?
When the plan of Dwarka Expressway was proposed, it was supposed to be one of the most exciting projects of Gurgaon. Including me there were many people who were relying on the success of Dwarka Expressway that it would somehow be helpful in the process of reviving the Gurgaon Real Estate maket but due to delay in the projects and the issues of land acquisitions further added to the confusion among buyers.
Hence, in my opinion, Dwarka Expressway & issues related to it has been the biggest disappointment.
Describe your typical day – what does your work/life balance look like?
Hectic to be specific in the current condition, my schedules are often very tight. Still, I try to have a synergy in my professional & personal life, doesn’t want to take official calls on my day off, likewise rarely do my personal work during office hours. Thanks to my wife for understanding me. Happy indeed!!
Many people regret not having enough time for the things they like. If you could add six hours onto every day, what would you do with the extra time?
Yes thats correct indeed. I plan to retire early in life and take some time for long tours around the globe. If I get Six hours every day, I would like to spend some more time with my family and the rest with a NGO which works for underprivileged girls.
What advice can you offer to others who are on similar career path?
Learning is a habit, with time and experience one should always stay focussed. In today’s era smart work is more important that hard work. Thus, stay true to your work and work smartly. Real estate is soon going to take its peak again.
