The last few years have witnessed the startup cloud getting thicker, as fresh ideas been raining in all the sectors. Right from travel, technology, education, fashion, food to real estate every marketing angle is clubbed and presented within the marketing sandwich. Millions of new ideas have been executed by the masterminds. And, a lot of happenings have been recorded in the real estate sector too, that is primarily considered disorganised.

According to a joint report by CREDAI and JLL,

“The Indian real estate market is expected to touch US$ 180 billion by 2020 and the contribution of the residential segment to the GDP would almost double to 11 per cent by 2020”

It is predicted that the sector has immense potential to grow and thus the thinking minds created several platforms that is related to the segment.

Here is a list of top startups in India.

1.NoBroker : founded in 2014, is a platform that connects the buyers and the sellers directly, without any brokers involved. They are active in 5 major cities, Mumbai, Bangalore, Pune, Chennai and Gurugram. They also provide customised rental agreements and they claim to thoroughly check the listings before putting them up on the site.

2. Homeshikari : founded in 2011,  is also a platform that tries to remove the role of the middleman, and connects the buyers and the sellers online. They use technology at its best to provide all the information one needs to know about the property. One can find videos of the property to have a virtual experience. They provide other services like managing transactions for the clients.

3. Magicbricks: founded in 2006, buyers and sellers can find the property of their choice on the website, for their respective purposes. They have an option of e-auction also on their website.

4.Brand Falcon: founded in 2015, it is a branding tool for the real estate developers. It is a platform where the developers can create stories about their brands with guided project walk-throughs & 3600 Panorama, live chats and instant booking options.

5.Anarock : founded in 2017, focuses primarily on the  transactions of residential property. It provides residential advisory service, debt, equity, and funding to residential developers.

6.Ghar360: founded in 2013, using this platform, one can design and visualise his/her dream home in 3D. It is a one stop destination for all, who contributed in building a house, like realtors, architects, homeowners, interior designers, and different brands.

7.Zricks: founded in 2013, it is an online digital platform for real estate developers and agents to search for potential buyers. Users can list their properties to sell or rent, and buyers can connect.

8.Zelo: founded in 2015, it is a chain of branded PGs, and they provide standardised facilities to all their guests. They are known for upgraded services to their customers with the use of technology.

9.NestAway: founded in 2015, online marketplace for shared home rentals for singles. The startup transforms unfurnished houses into fully-furnished houses.

10.Housing: founded in 2012, they intent to bring lucidity in the dealings amongst the buyers, sellers and brokers. The website provide distilled search results  with high quality maps.
