Marking state-owned Navratna PSU, NBCC (India) Ltd’s 58th Foundation Day, Minister of State (I/C) for Housing & Urban Affairs (MoHUA), Shri. Hardeep Singh Puri unveiled a sand sculpture by internationally acclaimed artist Padma Shri Sudarsan Pattnaik in Delhi today.
Done at the Tikona Park, in New Moti Bagh GPRA club and opposite to Leela Hotel, the sand sculpture showcases the accomplishments of NBCC since its inception and its journey in crafting smart and sustainable infrastructure across India. This artistic expression also symbolises NBCC’s strength and repute as an industry leader.
Addressing the gathering on the occasion, Shri Puri appreciated NBCC’s excellent contribution in the nation’s growth, its achievements and business performance, particularly in recent years.
NBCC Chairman-cum-Managing Director Dr. Anoop Kumar Mittal said, “NBCC has charted an unblemished success story in the last 58 years. Today NBCC projects are spread across India spanning residential and commercial complexes and iconic structures. NBCC has been able to integrate engineering and innovation excellence with architectural expertise while building smart, sustainable inventories across India and abroad.”
Other dignitaries present on the occasion were Sh. Durga Shanker Mishra, Secretary, MoHUA, Dr. Anoop Kumar Mittal, CMD, NBCC and other senior government officials.
