Hey guys, we’re back with the weekly news roundup with lots of exciting updates from the real estate industry. So without any further ado let’s get started!

Beginning with the update on Jewar Airport. According to an official document, UP Govt. has approved 1,260 crores for Jewar airport land acquisition in Gautam Buddh Nagar.
Moving on to Mumbai. The notorious Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus junction is about to get refurbished, as it will have pedestrians and resting zones, along with traffic lanes, in keeping with Times Square in NY.
Next update is from Gujarat. Gujarat witnessed 2.75 lakh home buyers, which are the largest share of buyers availing of the subsidy scheme under PMAY (Urban) and is now on the top of the list followed by Maharashtra & MP.
Update on development in the e-vehicle policy. Delhi Govt. disclosed a draft on the e-vehicle policy that aims e-vehicle to cover 25% of all new vehicle registrations by 2023.
In the end, the managing Director of Knight Frank India, Mr Mr Shishir Baijal quoted that the Maharashtra Govt’s decision allowing BMC to increase stamp duty on the property by 1% universally will impact buyer’s sentiments, majorly in the affordable homes category.
