The crawling traffic jam days are over. The 10.3 km flyover connecting NH – 24 at U.P. Gate till Raj Nagar Extension has finally got the environment clearance from the respective state authorities.
The flyover had already missed four deadlines. It was supposed to be operational in November 2017 but had been delayed by over 4 months due to various reasons. GDA Vice President Ms Ritu Maheshwari had said on Jan 2018 – “The work of the elevated road is almost over & the authority plans to get this inaugurated by the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath.
The flyover will not only help the lacs of people commuting from Delhi to Raj Nagar Extension but is also expected to boost the realty market in and around Raj Nagar Extension. When the overall real estate sector of India is undergoing a rough patch due to the trust deficit & non-delivery of projects in time, especially the Delhi/ NCR, this flyover can play a key role in the revival of the market.
“The travelling time from Delhi to Raj Nagar Extension will be reduced by 1/4th to its existing time as soon as this flyover gets operational & this is surely going to provide relief to a lot of commuters coming to Raj Nagar Extension from New Delhi” says Mr Palash R Agarwal, Director, Techman Group.
The other factors which seem to play a vital role in the revival of real estate market of Raj Nagar Extension are –
– Soon to be operational Metro Line
– Connectivity with Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS)
– To be opened International cricket stadium
– Availability of commercial complexes
– Proximity to Eastern Peripheral Expressway
