As reported by TOI, and Nefowa, six representatives of Noida home buyers are all set to meet the new UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath. Buyers agitations have already created a lot of commotion. Tired, helpless homebuyers are agitated with the unheard builders like Gaur, Jaypee, Amrapali, and Earth Infrastructures. A solution to their dream smuggling awaits.
Abhishek Kumar, president, Nefowa shared to TOI. “We have been requesting for an interaction with the chief minister for some time. The appointment has been confirmed finally by MLA, Pankaj Singh. Six of us will be visiting Lucknow on Thursday and meeting CM Yogi Adityanath. We are looking for a fair hearing on our issues,”
Yogi seems to be clear with the political agenda of the home buyers, yet petty issues like Love Jihad, Meat Issues keeps him occupied. Home buyers online campaigns and rage have finally grabbed the attention of Yogi. As reported by TOI, Indrish Gupta, co-founder, Nefowa, shared. “Completion of apartments, refund or penalty on delays, floor-area-ratio issues, builders misplacing buyer’s money, all these are more are to be discussed. With a change in the government, we are hopeful of positive action,”
Things MAY Change?
With the states set to finalize the RERA rules MAY onwards, there is a definite hope in the corridors of buyer market to make defaulting developers to fall in line after nearly half a decade of the fiasco of loot and breach of trust by such transgressors therein. Salience that has been mostly discussed regarding RERA is to bring transparency and accountability in the real estate market, the absence of which has been the real culprit in this commerce of real estate.
